Purna Yoga Centers founder and Meditation and Kundalini Master, Savitri leads the development of the Purna Yoga Meditation practice, providing visionary guidance, instruction, practical techniques and strategies to help Purna Yoga students connect their bodies and minds with their inner wisdom, light and strength. Savitri teaches Purna Yoga Meditation classes at Purna Yoga Centers, the College of Purna Yoga and at workshops around the world.
Purna Yoga Meditation is a practical approach to meditation based on using the gifts of the mind to go into the heart chakra and connect with the Pillar of Light, the soul in the physical body. She has practiced meditation since 1986, sometimes for 18 hours a day. Her techniques have helped her through many life-threatening illnesses and death experiences. Savitri is the author of Meditation Snacks and Meditation Meals and has taught meditation throughout the world since 1993. Savitri teaches ongoing meditation classes and annual workshops at Yoga Centers and throughout the U.S., Europe, Mexico, and India. Her classes emphasize active meditation as a way of life. She has discovered, “Meditation is extremely logical and practical. Instead of taking me away from life, it has taught me how to truly live it.” Her teachings are an integral part of Purna Yoga.
